I'm a linux noob but eager to learn, should I bring anything to bring to the meetings? 

Also who here used to BBS?  I remember BIBMUG from my BBS'n days.

Check out the WNYLUG that meets out at PCA associates on Cayuga at 6:30 the second Wednesday of the month - wnylug.org, and this WNYComSoc that holds a GNU/Linux beginners SIG at UB's Allen Hall at 7:00 the third Wednesday of the month.

Bring your comments, your questions, and your laptop.

p.s.  Go into the Linux forum of this site and review the Beginners SIG monthly postings to see what the group has covered.
