http://en-us.www.mozilla.com/en-US/thunderbird/ or go to Help ->Check for Updates in Thunderbird.
Make sure you close all programs using the Thunderbird files before installing. My webcam was using Thunderbird files (I didn't realize that) and I had trouble installing it because of that.
