See it is all your fault basically because you do not buy anything there so they went out of business 

Personally I think it is a shame but that is the way they do business these days.

They sold to many products that needed rebates to get a decent price.

Actually, I think the biggest problem was that the only way you could get a good price on something was when it was on sale and had rebates.  Their regular prices are definitely high compared to all the online resources.  The only time I really  bought things in there was if it was on sale with a rebate and came out cheaper than the online merchants or I really had to have a replacement part for a computer that was down.
Oh well, the good news for me is that the Rochester/Henrietta store is not closing and I go to Rochester and east quite frequently, so I can still get deals when they're available.

Their support policies were also terrible. Couldn't get help under warrenty unless you bought an extension.

CompUSA sold, stores to close after holidays

Consumer electronics retailer CompUSA said Friday it will close its store operations after the holidays following sale of the company to Gordon Brothers Group, a restructuring firm. Financial terms weren't disclosed.
