Microsoft has recently released security patches for most of the currently unsupported versions of Windows. This was prompted by various NSA exploits that remained unaddressed. These patches must be downloaded manually, and installed to take effect. You'll need to lookup your specific Windows version. To find your specific version of Windows, go to START, then select RUN, type in " WINVER " and then "Enter".  Your current version should now be displayed in a separate pop-up window. Please read the Microsoft Security Advisory 4025685 first before you download these patches.
