You could be eligible for a $15 refund from Intel, if you bought a Pentium 4 PC over 10 years ago?

...but you won't need a receipt !

So why the cashback? A class action lawsuit contends that Intel and HP manipulated benchmark scores to give the first generation Pentium 4 processor favorable results over its rivals AMD Athlon offering back in the day. Intel and HP deny these claims, but both parties have decided to reach the lawsuit settlement.  Per the pending class action settlement, customers who purchased a new computer for personal use equipped with an Intel Pentium 4 processor between November 20, 2000 and December 31, 2001 or a first-generation Pentium 4 (Williamette) processor at speeds below 2GHz between January 1, 2002 and June 30, 2002 may be entitled to a $15 refund.
